In this report, I’d like to introduce the overview and guests’ feedback of our tour “Experience Kami-shima! Diving with Ama diver and explore the island” .

【Overview of Kami-shima and the tour】

Kami-shima is a small island of Toba-city with population of about 500 perople. There, we can still see Ama culture of 3000 years history in Ise-Shima. I this tour, we will listen to stories from an Ama diver who live in sustainable manner with ocean, having a local set meal with fresh seafood. Then, we will go to see with a local Ama diver. Lastly, it is time to explore Kami-shima island of which appeared in Mishima Yukio’s novel, The Sound of Waves.
